Born in the Age of Aquarius, destined to seek out truths in many an art form, trained as a historian and a journalist but truly a prose-lover... Luciano is out to dispel any clichés and reinvent them all both to the tune of a little something called the truth as also to his own image - and being old-fashioned, he does not mind that distinction one infinitesimal tiny bit at all...! "There are two ways to spread the light; be the candle... or the mirror that reflects It." I have chosen to be the latter... okay? ~*~ "To be not only a seeker of light... but a dream weaver of light" ~*~ For as surely as the moon reflects the light from the sun, you and I can reflect the Light from Above - and be, indeed, the light of this world! ~*~*~*~ NOTE: THERE ARE COOKIES ~ from at least three parties~ ON ALL OF MY BLOGS! ~*~ accept it!

John Barry truly did a STUPENDOUS job on BOTH of these, didn't he?
One could say - a BANG UP job!
(Danny Wylde and James Bond himself would appreciate the expression - they do, whenever it is used! But that is beside the point right now...)
Both are such great themes...
But to choose only ONE...
...
Damn those copyright hassles and all!
I am pretty sure Mr. Barry or "his people" pulled some strings to have ALL TRACES of his great work for the George Lazenby/Diana Rigg Bond film's soundtrack REMOVED from the net!
Too bad; 'cause all I wanted to do was spotlight it, showcase it as his VERY BEST WORK!
And certainly everyone else who ever uploaded the track to the world wide web felt likewise - and the same goes to those who shamelessly SAMPLED from it...!
And speaking of which...
This is all I can find anymore of these traces I speak of; a mere excerpt of the Propellerheads' sampling of John Barry's composition, that you can listen to on the new profile of close friend Luc Poirier (!) - here.
The "perfspot" indeed to begin appreciating this great music anew - and voting accordingly here?!?
