West Life - Take That

In the realm where angels need not thread,
there are boy bands - aplenty.

Once in a blue moon,
one of them makes a song - or two -
that truly makes a difference,
fills a void,
expresses an emotion
that hasn't been explored-to-death before
- or simply needed a definitive treatment
and definite presentation;
such is the case with this song by Westlife,
''I'll See You Again''

Fandom wishes that their favorites
would sound as good, and make such songs,
as Westlife delivered with that one...

A band with, allegedly, a much larger following
- Take That -
has rarely delivered such quality,
though they've tried
one... or two times...

On this day, however
- such a meaningful day, for me... for us, here -
both of the songs above
do serve a purpose
- though, clearly, the first one does
much more so than the second one there...
