DOPe - Dolphins Or Patriots?

(e for electronic; we're online, aren't we? *lol*)

The 1972 Dolphins went 14-0 in the regular season
The 2007 Patriots went 16-0 in the regular season

Right now -
before the playoffs start
and regardless, thus, of the fact that
the Dolphins won the Super Bowl
after their perfect season
and the Patriots have yet to play
3 more games, in order to do the same
RIGHT NOW -
which one would be the better team?
Don Shula's Dolphins
or Bill Belichick's Patriots?

Consider this though,
as you weight out the options here:
the present-day Patriots
have established several records
on par with compiling a perfect record
- a league mark with 75 touchdowns
- most points scored overall, with 589 points
(previous mark was 556 set by 1998's Minnesota Vikings.)
- most wins in a season, obviously
- Tom Brady topped a personal record
- Randy Moss topped a personal record!
(Brady's 50th touchdown pass eclipsed the old mark
set by arch-rival Peyton Manning.
To do it while defeating Peyton's brother,
Eli, was just an added touch...!
Moss established a new mark for receivers,
catching his 23rd touchdown pass
to surpass Jerry Rice's mark of 22.
So "storybook finish" this was,
that the both of them connected again
to set these new marks while scoring
the winning points that clinched
the win and the perfect season
16-0, for the Patriots!)

And one could add that
the Patriots' stingy defense
is stingiest than any other in history
including the '72 Dolphins
(who were perfect when the
Boston Bruins ruled the NHL
and won a second Stanley Cup
in three years!
Hmm... I hope a perfect NFL team
is a sign that the B's win the Cup!
I won't hold my breath for that though...!
Boston Celtics win another title, yes
But the B's...?
Long shot...!)

ANYWAY...

DOLPHINS
OR
PATRIOTS
épa...!

VOTE - NOW!

Who do you like better, at this point - Boston Celtics or New England Patriots?

Everywhere in Boston...
They're either pulling for the Celts
to recapture ancient glory
Or for the Pats to go PERFECT
It's as simple as that!

Which team thrills YOU the most - hmm?

I mean, these numbers don't lie:

Celtics.com
Stat of the Week
This year's 20-2 start ties the 1963-64 team's record for the best start through 22 games in team history.
The Celtics won 16 of their 19 NBA Finals - establishing a winning percentage that exceeds by a substantial margin those of the winningest franchises in other sports, notably the Yankees in baseball and the Canadiens in hockey.

Patriots.com
Stats
Patriots established a new record for most consecutive regular season wins, 19, with their victory over the Miami Dolphins which made them 15-0 this year - also a record that eclipses the Dolphins' mark of 14-0 in 1972.
The Patriots have won 3 Super Bowls in 5 years.

A luminous extra though:

*This Day in Celtics History*
Powered by Kia Motors
December 26, 1956 - Bill Russell sets all-time Celtics rebound mark of 34 in 20 minutes of play.
Boston beats Philadelphia, 120-97.

And another extra:
These cheerleaders aren't bad either! ;)

Same goes for these Celtics Dancers...!

I'll take them over any Riverdance troupe ANY DAY -
twice on Friday (it's a traditional Celtics game day! ;)

But those are other, ah, assets...

Don't let them influence your vote now
which is, I repeat, for which SPORTS TEAM...!

Which is the greatest fallacy found on Care2 profiles...?

CATS PLAYING IN A PING-PONG TOURNAMENT...

The way these cats play, this is assuredly going to be the "neverending pingpong match" - yeah meow! :!
I'm betting on Toonces to outhustle Morris though - one of these nine lives that is, yeah! *sigh*

BLINKING BUDDIES

Blink and you'll miss it
- and next thing you know, the darn critters are rolling around the grass engaged in hissy combat; fang, tooth, nail and claw at it too!

TRICK OR TREATIN'S IN APRIL NOW...?

Witches don't FLY (with me)
And EASTER BUNNIES don't hang out with HALLOWEEN HAGS - quit mixing up "holidays" in a "holidaze" - you cooks! ;)

And I never heard of "Sparrowette" - Samantha, the Bewitched One and Tabitha (and granny lesbo Endora too) yes; and, in more recent years, Sabrina the Teenaged Witch of course... And the Charmed Sisters; Patch, Puke and Pester - something like that! No - no "sparrowettes" there...
Are you sure it isn't "Satan's Marionette" instead?

BLESSINGS? WHAT HAPPENED TO "NAMASTE"...?

Those wretched creatures are NOT "blessed" - with good looks or with anything else!
And besides - Thursday is not witchcraft day - Tuesday is!
Right, Grizelda?

NO SAFETY NET FOR SORCERY ADEPTS...

Thought I told you they didn't FLY...?
Not without a special kind of Baby Oil, they can't - allegedly...!
:!

And as for the drinking habit - let them drink and get drunk and crash into high rise buildings - I say! ;)

A SWORD & SORCERY FIGURE FOR REAL...? HA!

No eternally teeny girl named "Sparrowette" could ever be so well-endowed... EVER!
I know the Teen Titans' Arrowette, btw - but there are no sparrows there! A few Robins, yes! And a Raven too! None had big boobies though! ;)

GIVE IT... UP, ALREADY!

Peace...
Right.

And they shot him dead once he got off that boat!
Sounds more like "this means WAR" to me -
you s(c)issy! ;)
