Pandemic Music 2

OK ~ this time, instead of rehashing

music made in 2020

(or #2020WON... #2020TWO...)

how about actual *viral* music... eh?

Viral in that sense - yes...

ok - that's enough of that!

Pandemic Music!

Yeah ~ invariably, the taste-testing here

can best be applied upon musical preferences...

Indubitably!

And what better subject nowadays
than this new brand of music ~
those new releases & compositions
that have got the distinction to have
either come out or been composed
during this dreadful time...!!!

LOTS OF GOOD STUFF THOUGH:

...that was a BIG HIT...

And this next one was AWESOME:

But for an actual "competition" here -
let's see now which one of these next two really captured
the troubled times -the anxiety-  that we went through
and the devastating effects all that had
on more than one couple out there...!

...so...
they ran around in circles
(during confinement - for sure)
or they enjoyed a prolonged summer
like Starfox there:

Best case scenario:

But CAUTION is advised:

And then there are the stranded
hopeless romantics...

I think I vote for CAUTION!

The Best Music Machine!

Which one is it ~ really:

C & C Music Factory: 'Here We Go Let's Rock & Roll'

Miami Sound Machine

... miscellaneous machines now:

BONUS MUSIC

...likening the proverbial "music machine" to a powerful
(nearly omnipotent) object here- one that can either
stoke the fires of many diverse passions (...) - or possibly
extinguish them, when they've gone haywire?
Something like a...

fIREHOSE: 'Tien An Man Dream Again'

Forever Nights

... what else can we think of,
on these days of self-isolation
peppered with long hot nights?

What else other than all these songs
- all these unforgettable melodies -
about love, lust and THE NIGHT...?

... video not available in its own country of origin?
CANADA - where that music was MADE?
HAHAHAHA. Good one, YouTube. HERE:

Damn you... Warner!!!

No one is making any money off that music!
THIS is just to sample it - and compare!!!
You're just as bad as the Greedy Rat
who thinks he's got super-powers,
mastered The Force
and owns the whole blamed world --- now!
JUST. AS. BAD!

AND IT MAKES ME MAD!!!

#ButThat'sAnotherStory

... for another blog!

* UPDATE *

I think we have got our true winner now:

Thin Lines

... between victory and defeat?
... between love and hate?
... between pleasure and pain?
But that's another story -
for another blog!!!

I mean... there is thin
and then there is WAY TOO THIN...!!!

It is a fine, fine line between skinny - and unhealthy!

But it truly, really is a debate for another BLOG!!!

How about these two thin lines now:

TROOPER (with a little help from... Superman?!?)
sang about a THIN *WHITE* LINE...

TIGER (...) some 10 years later
sang of a THIN *RED* LINE...

WHICH ONE WAS BETTER...?

AND THE DEBATE RRRAGES ON...!

What's The Best Day of the Week...

... Again?

The Mamas & The Papas
always seem to think it was...
Monday.

The Carpenters
appeared to be in agreement...

Jimmy Buffett too...

And Mark Chesnutt...
is a realist.

Saba...?
On the fence...

The Bangles
wanted none of it...

Fleetwood Mac
thought of it as a starting point

Matt Corby
too - obviously.

Warayouth
also...

Boomtown Rats
started the trend of... hating it, really.

...well, there's a band by that name...

...actually...!

(...of all of those songs about Monday,
the Bangles' still gets the top nod -
even though they are really
singing the praises of Sunday...!
It's their fun day - right?)

Onwards to... TUESDAY
Danelle Sandoval & Burak Yeter
are fans...!

Drake & Makonnen too
- alas.

Tuesday mornings, especially...  can be tough.
... ask The Pogues.

but David Weisner
- he liked it so much
he wrote a book about it!

Jake Scott's take on it...

Loopy, Lil' Cherry, Yuzion...
all ganged up on it, too!!!

Rudy Mancuso
- finds it a bit boring...

R J Jimenez ' take on it...

NALYRO x SENSE  now...

The Moody Blues
focused on its afternoon...

The Rolling Stones
compared it... to a ruby!?!

and one of our favorite bands
of ALL-TIME (and from Boston!)
made its name on it...!

but, just like that, Tuesday's Gone
- announced Lynyrd Skynyrd!

THUS, ONWARDS TO

... Macklemore has trouble
getting up on Wednesday morning -
it is painfully obvious!

maybe he should do
The Wednesday Dance!

...yeah...

Tori Amos
had her say about it, too...

FAIR GAME...
(afternoon!)

... for a Blue Wednesday

...deep blue...

Wednesday Finale...

ONWARDS TO THURSDAY

... the band!

The Weeknd
chimes in on the subject - somehow...
hoping for a four-day week-end, eh?

Jim Croce
had a better take on it...

Jess Glynne's -
is adequate.

J.G. - with Ed Sheeran!
(Two for... Thursdays?)

Thursdays even... GOT 7.
(but they're not magnificent...)

David Bowie had a
Thursday Child...
(not with his China Girl -
and the kid wasn't one of those 7.)

J.G. - again - with H.E.R.

CBeebies' shot at it here...

What can we say now...
except... THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY!!!

Rebecca Black
still has the best grasp on the whole T.G.I.F. thing!

Katy Perry...
only references R.B. ~ alas!

Dean Brody with a great big bit of help
from Great Big Sea - they gave it a go, also;
but, quite frankly... they could have skipped it.
Nothing truly memorable there... And then:
everybody else... should have not bothered.

...not even Ice Cube.

The Cure...
was clueless.
(You can't be in love just one day in the week!!!)

How come FRIDA didn't sing about FRIDAY
but the ANNOYING ORANGE did?!?

SATURDAY - PLEASE!!!

Cherelle knew what Saturday was for...

Mimi has a firm grasp on this, also...

Rebecca Black enlisted the help of
an expert, apparently - one Dave Days (!) -
in order to continue partying until the
End of Days...?!?
(Or, at least, make it through a whole weekend?)
Not to be...

Sam Fender -
shouldn't have bothered either.

The Bay City Rollers
got started on them Saturday NIGHTS...

Elton John dropped in
his two cents' worth ~
(as if he knew anything about FIGHTING...!)

... but we all know who got the final word
on that subject!
(We're ALL feverish!)

SO THEN... WHAT ABOUT SUNDAY?

Sunday mornings are hard -
ask Maroon 5

You want to be happy...
but you know the week-end is at an end;
Monday will be coming next...
Ugh! It is so hard to be happy -
right, Hennessy?

...unless you're the Bangles; it's their "fun day"
- no matter what! Same goes for Max Manie here,
apparently...

but Sunday is, after all,
The Day Of The Lord...

It is bound to be...
It can only be... THE BEST!

CONCLUSION:

SUNDAY IS THE BEST -
FOR SURE!!!

Yay!
